I've been tagged!

Grrrr Alicia and her Tagging!!!! Just kidding....uuummmm seven things people wouldn't really know about me....hhhmmm...
1. I love the muppets as many know, what you don't know, is that I own six sets of muppet PJ's with matching underoos. PS I'm proud!
2. I'm immune to most guilt trips....thank you most of all my grandmother for building my immunity! :) Believe it or not this is a good thing!
3. I don't like movies that stress me out. There's enough stress in everyday life.
4. I'm kind of a slob...EXCEPT my closet...it's color coded (including shoes).
5. Some commercials make me cry.
6. I would wear a crown everyday if I thought I could get away with it.....I have three.
7. I think the 80's was an awesome 10 years. Hair bands and leg warmers ROCK!

Annoyed and Exhausted

Why do a bunch of little things that wouldn't normally drive you crazy add all up makes you insane? A kid wiped his nose all the way up my arm today...and he thought it was funny! The district messed up my pay check, I can't find one of my test scores to apply for my teaching license, and no body will answer their phones!!!! Well that helped... a little! I'm gonna take a deep breath now!

Spring Break in Santa Fe

We had a great spring break--although it wasn't long enough! We went to Santa Fe for four days and had a blast just hanging out. Mike's mom Paula (the best mother in law ever!) made a huge turkey dinner on Friday night that was fabulous! We got to see our very wonderful friends Joaquin and the Gunther's. Paula also to took us to the Guadalupe Cafe, my very favorite place to eat and we stuffed ourselves silly! Of course, that was our last big hoorah food wise. Being in a place that I can possibly run into people who last saw me 30 pounds ago makes for a low self esteem. So as part of spring with its new beginnings I am trying to commit to getting healthier and losing weight! P.S. The picture f the mountains is the view taken directly from Mike and Paula's backdoor- Isn't it beautiful?!

Mikey gets "down to business"

Here's my boy in his new suit! We went on quite an adventure in finding the perfect suit--he picked it out all by himself! It was a proud moment. And I must say he looks quite fabulous!

Mikey got his internship!!

We prayed, we hoped and wished and guess what?! Mike got one of the internships that he had inerviewed for! Starting June 2nd, Mike will be in Albuquerque working for State Farm Insurance. He gets to go to big boy business training school in Phoenix to learn all the stuff he needs to be an "insured" guy!! I am so proud of him!! He's worked really hard for this and I know he'll be amazing. While I am proud of him, I will miss him terribly over the summer! But I know its for the best. Plus, he looks way cute in his new suit!

My super awesome sister and super awesome Alicia have a blog and I like it! So here I am being a dirty copycat! We've been super busy and maybe this will help us stay in touch with people!

I just graduated from NMSU and was just hired as a DD Preschool EA at Conlee! Hopefully I'll have a teaching job this next fall! Mike is supposed to graduate this December and is up for two internships for this summer. One is at State Farm in Albuquerque and the other is for Meryll Lynch. He still has to interview again but we're keepng our fingers crossed!!!
